We offer reconditioned hooks.
Please note that we will levy a fee of £50 plus VAT for all
exchange hooks despatched without first receiving your worn out
hook for exchange.
We advise customers to check by phone (01452
741 463) for availability before sending or purchasing a hook as
at peak times we can be awaiting hooks back from Tost.
Due to the
wide variations in hooks in
service the prices below are for
guidance only. Hooks that are
very old or have defective parts
will cost more to have
overhauled. in some cases Tost
may refuse to overhaul very old
hooks. In this case we will
still supply on an exchange
bases but will apply a surcharge
for the fact that your core was
not able to be exchanged. At
present this surcharge is £50
For gliders
such as early ASK 6cr and some
K8's we have a small stock of
vintage hooks that have been
overhauled. These are in short
supply and cost significantly
more than normal hooks.
We have a limited stock of the
special hooks used on Puchaz. Please contact us to check
we have stock before sending your hook in.
If you are purchasing an exchange
hook we will contact you before despatch to arrange a
deposit. For unusual hooks we may have to have your hook
overhauled, this could take 10 to 14 days.
