Metric Steel Tube

We carry a range of the common sizes of German manufactured steel tube as used on the ASK series gliders.

We supply Metric steel tube in multiples of 1 metre only. Max un-cut  length 2 mtrs

4130 Steel Plate

4130 is an acceptable steel for the manufacture of gusset plates and other such items on most low stress parts on gliders. It requires no heat treatment after welding and it easy to work in the cold state.

We supply 4130 sheet in sheets measuring 12" x 9" only. Thickness are approx metric conversions of imperial sizes.

4130 Steel Bar

4130 is an acceptable steel for the manufacture of bushes and other such low stress parts on gliders. It requires no heat treatment after welding and it easy to work in the cold state.

Bar is supplied in lengths as indicated.
