Saws:- We
offer a range of saws to suit the differing needs found in
repairing gliders.
Hacksaw:-
For metalwork and composite work
available in both full size and junior sizes. Spare blades for
both.
Razor Saw:- When working
on ribs and other light structures a small Razor saw is ideal.
These saws have a steel rigid backing and very thin blades. With
32 tpi the fine cut leaves end grain ready for gluing.
Pad Saw:- A pad saw is
ideal for those tight to get at places and when carrying out steel
tube repairs.

If you are doing
wood repairs then a set of chisels are essential. However because
of staples and gimp pins save you best set for fine work. We offer
a small range of basic drop forged chrome vanadium chisels ideal
for such work. Handle are made of polypropylene to resist solvent
attack.
No matter how
many G clamps you have you will always need more we have selected
a range of G Clamps to cover most jobs at reasonable prices.
If you are a child of the sixties or younger the chances are you
will not have these sizes in your toolbox. However many vintage
gliders were built using these sizes. Get them now while you
still can!
Adjustable Reamers:
Good quality adjustable reamers to fine tune holes to accept
oversized parts.
Metric Taps: Good quality
Dormer straight fluted taps in Second Taper. Can be used to
restore threads or cut new.
