Unlike most other mounts this unit contains a mounted plug so that you can remove your Ipaq quickly and easily without touching the cable. What's more on the top model the leads exit the cradle from the rear leaving more room for your legs and less chance of snagging when getting in and out.

	Model B	Model C	Flexible Arm

Summary of models

Model B)  Basic mount with mounting pad. Has built in plug but uses your existing cable which plugs into a socket on the bottom of the mount. This option is good if you have an existing non standard plug.

Model C) Basic mount with mounting pad. Has built in plug,  5 volt power converter, and TX and RX lead. This is the top of the range and is ideal for new installations or when up-grading to an Ipaq.

Good Points: Self connecting, light, built in leads on top model

Bad Points: Limited range of movement, with supplied mounting plate, Gooseneck give greater positioning and smaller mounting foot print.

Model A)  Basic mount with mounting pad. This mount is identical to the Self Connecting range above but does not offer automatic cable connection. This option is good if you have an existing non standard plug.

Good Points: Lightweight, holds PDA securely, full range of models covered, competitively priced

Bad Points: Limited range of movement, with supplied mounting plate, Gooseneck give greater positioning and smaller mounting foot print. Requires separate power data lead

The original LX Avionics Ipaq mount has proven to be very popular. The range has been expanded to accept both the 2200 and the later 3800 onward models. Now also available with a gooseneck mounting system.

Good Points: Cheap, light, easy to adjust

Bad Points: Limited range of movement, with rigid arm, bulky mounting plate, Gooseneck give greater positioning and smaller mounting plate

Good Points: A range of options to suit almost every need, range covers all models

Bad Points: Some of the mounts are very bulky (3800 in particular)
