Instrument Panel Blanks

These instrument panel blanks are made from "E"Glass woven cloth with an epoxy resin systems. Nominally 2.0 mm thick they have local reinforcement as required. Each panel is supplied painted in semi gloss black or grey.

Instrument Layout Guides

These guides have been cut on our CNC machine to drawings supplied by Winter Instruments. Each guide can be used as a stencil to position the instrument and mark out the holes.

The template is designed to be used to mark out the holes once the major hole has been cut and is suitable for both 57 and 80 mm cut outs.

All the parts are made from 2 mm polycarbonate

Manufactured using 8 layers of 280grm Glass Fibre these panels have a nominal thickness of 2mm Gloss finish on one side only

(The use of solid carbon for instrument panels is not recommended in most gliders. This is due to the way carbon shatters in an accident.)

Manufactured from 200grm 2x2 twill Carbon these section are ideal for the manufacture of brackets and supports. Extremely strong yet very light.

Each section is nominally 150 mm long with a satin finish on both surfaces.
