Severn Valley Sailplanes' Winglets are of a moulded construction and use glass skins with sandwich reinforcements. The ribs for both wings and winglets are of pre moulded construction and incorporate the mounting tube to ensure accurate alignment. The winglets are easily fitted and are held in place using a spring loaded plunger.

These winglets are reported by the pilots to improve low speed handling and stability.
