C of A Time? Judging from the phone calls many of you are getting stuck into your C of A's and making changes for the coming spring. The BGA Technical Committee in its last newsletter recommended the replacement of all metal instrument panels in gliders at the earliest possible date. Whilst I personally have some misgivings about this and its implications to older and less popular gliders, on the whole it is a sensible recommendation. For some time now we have manufactured a range of panels for the more popular types like the Std Cirrus and K13's and we have recently added to the range and can now offer many other types. Click here for more details. At long last we have found a self connecting Ipaq mount that has the cables exiting from the rear. The mounts are nice and neat and hold the Ipaq quite firmly which is a must in a glider. To good thing about these mounts is the they are modular in their construction, allowing you to purchase just what you need. For more details Click Here LX Navigation are fast becoming the market leaders for Vario systems and have recently added the LX16 Club (£339 inc VAT) entry level vario to their range as well and up-dating the LX160si (£899.46 inc VAT) the price of this ever popular vario has also been reduced.
